| Abstract: | Summary Modeccin, the toxin ofAdenia digitata, agglutinates erythrocytes from several mammalian species. The haemagglutinating activity is enhanced by neuraminidase and is inhibited by galactose and by galactose-containing sugars.Acknowledgment.
