| Abstract: | Language is the carrier of culture. Chinese culture and English culture are different, therefore English learners will meet pragmatic failure in using it especially in translation. It seems more important to understand another country＇s culture and the native speakers＂ expressions in order to avoid these pragmatic failures. |
