试论面向新世纪的高等教育改革

着重讨论了面临日趋激烈的国际竞争,我国的高等教育只有走全面改革之路,才能适应新世纪的需要。提出了走向21世纪高等教育的改革,一是必须坚持规模、结构、质量、效益统一协调发展的方针;二是要把传统的知识价值观转变为包括知识、能力等智力因素与非智力因素全面发展的素质教育观;三是深化教学内容和课程体系改革必须面向新世纪的需要。

On the Reform in Higher Education Towards the New Century

Faced with the increasing competition in the world, only through reform can higher education in China meet the requirements of the new century. There are three principles for us to follow in the reform. Firstly, we must adhere to the policy of unification and coordination of scale, structure, quality and benefit. Secondly, we must turn conventional knowledge value into quality education value which means an all - round development of intellectual factors, such as knowledge and capacity, and non - intellectual factors. Finally, the reform in teaching content and curriculum system must be based on the needs of the new century.
