The Discussion on Influences and Devotions Which the "Five-four" Literature Societies Have Had in the Modernizing Process of Chinese Literature

The 20th century is the very important period that Chinese literature modernized firmly from the bar of semi-feudal and semi-colonial literature gradually. In the modernizing process of literature, the "Five-four" literature societies played an important role. People paid more attention to the individual aspects of authors than to literature societies before. From historical angle the essay discusses the literature societies which have had great influences and devotions in the modernizing process of Chinese literature.
