M ulberry paper is the historical experience of Chinese culture over thousands of years of civiliza-tion .M ulberry paper as one of the intangible cultural heritages ,its inheritor has gone ,so its heritage and development are faced with a great challenge .Digital technology can deal with the challenge through digi-talizing Mulberry paper ,and so to realize the heritage and protection of traditional Mulberry paper crafts . Through digital art software modeling according to the characteristics of the traditional mulberry ,after that ,texture mapping and other steps to be operated ,and at last ,digital Mulberry paper will appear in digital painting .To compare and analyze the application of traditional Mulberry paper and digitalized Mul-berry paper in the paintings .The digitalization of Mulberry paper will be the development of traditional in-tangible cultural heritage crafts and it will open new horizons .
