| Abstract: | Experimental and theoretical investigations on boiling heat transfer in liquid saturated porous bed heated from below are conducted.From the effects of particle on boiling heat transfer,a correlation of boiling heat transfer in the porous bed is obtained.The effects of particle size,particle properties, the depth of the bed and the boiling liquid on heat transfer were tested.The experiments show that the heat transfer rate in the porous bed is mainly influ- enced by the particle-liquid combination. |
