| Abstract: | This paper investigates that there are various problems about the translations of Chinese public signs in Shangqiu.It demonstrates some types of mistakes with an analysis of their sources.The author puts forward some suggestions for the standardation of the translatios of Chinese Public signs.The author also hopes that some departments pay more attention to this matter and take some effective measures for the purpose of enhancing the international image of Shangqiu. |
