词汇能力发展次序理论与我国英语词汇教学

摘    要:词汇是语言的内核,词汇能力的发展在英语学习中发挥着举足轻重的作用。国内外对外语词汇习得的研究发现,词汇能力表现为四个方面:词汇知识的广度、词汇知识的深度、词汇知识运用的准确度和词汇知识运用的自动化程度。其发展次序为“广度→深度→准确度→自动化程度”。四种能力的前两项指的是词汇知识的输入阶段。后两项指的是词汇知识的输出阶段。在教学中,应依据词汇发展理论及遗忘规律,减少遗忘,强化记忆,解决词汇量不足问题;应依据词汇发展理论及跨文化知识意识,加强言语训练,提高词汇运用能力,以期实现提高综合运用英语进行实际交流的能力。

Abstract:Vocabulary, the core of the language, plays an indispensable part in language learning process. The foreign and domestic study of the acquisition of vocabulary in foreign language shows that the lexieal competence is expressed in four aspects: breadth, depth, accuracy and automation. The first two aspects refer to the input of lexical knowledge while the last two mean the output. In teaching process, we can rely on the lexical development theory and forgetting curve to reinforce the memory in order to expand the vocabulary; and depend on lexical theories and cross-culture concepts to conduct language practice so as to improve the capability of communicating with English.
