上海的“半殖民地”情形与民族主义的崛起

近现代社会被殖民的历程和中国现代性的被动嵌入,造就了30年代的上海现代主义、殖民主义和民族主义多元共生的历史境遇,进而决定了上海现代化与殖民化、“半殖民地”情形与民主主义崛起之间的孪生关系。着眼于上海走向现代的历程中殖民因素与现代主义、民族主义的关系,力图探讨30年代上海在中国社会从传统走向现代这一个历史过程所起到的历史作用。

Shanghai's “Semi-colonial” Situation and the Rise of Nationalism

The colonized history of modern society and the passive embedment of Chinese modernity have contributed to the coexistence of Shanghai’s modernism, colonialism and nationalism which further determines the twin relationship between Shanghai’s modernism and colonialism, Shanghai’s semi-colonialism and the rise of nationalism. This paper intends to explore the relationship between Shanghai’s colonialism and the rise of nationalism, aiming to uncover the historical role Shanghai played in the thirties when China shifted from traditional society to modern society.
