Production,Application and Development of the Copper Alloy Tubes for Seawater Desalination in China

This paper reviews the application and production of copper alloy condenser tubes.A comparison is done between the traditional production and manufacturing technology of copper alloy condenser tubes and the upward cold rolling technology.The modern production process and the development trend are introduced.As to the overall condition of copper alloy condenser tube industry in China,problems exist in many aspects,such as small enterprise scale,insufficient gross productivity,coexistence of advanced and disqualified production technologies and equipment,and the demands of product quality improvement.At the present time,efforts need to be made in technology innovations and the establishment of industrial union to make the industry bigger and stronger.
