| 摘 要： | 宗教是一种社会历史现象。是人类社会发展到一定阶段的产物。宗教在西部地区具有特殊地位，宗教问题是关系到西部地区民族关系是否和谐的重要因素．西部地区民族关系的和谐离不开宗教问题的妥善处理。要妥善地处理宗教问题，就要全面贯彻党的宗教政策，依法加强对宗教事务的管理，积极引导宗教与社会主义社会相适应及坚持独立自主自办原则。
