永嘉乱后河东薛氏南迁江左考述

永嘉丧乱之初,河东薛氏凭河自固,自保不迁。直到刘裕平关中后,河东薛氏部众开始分散播迁,总体而言,河东薛氏南迁江左共有三次,前两次在刘裕失长安时,一支主动避难南迁,一支以俘虏被裹挟南下。第三次即北魏太武帝年间薛安都反叛逃奔刘宋,史书关于薛安都南迁时间和事件记载不一,应以《魏书》为确。三个南迁房支中一支较早北归,另两支以薛安都为代表,在刘宋时期凭借军功成为孝武帝勋旧,为＂义嘉之乱＂核心人物,威震南境。义嘉之乱被平,薛安都举州降魏,薛氏大部北归,齐梁之世虽仍有薛氏成员活动,但已十分寂寥,梁代以后河东薛氏在南境几无踪迹可寻。

Study on Hedong Xue family＇s migration to Jiangzuo after Yongjia riot

At the beginning of Yongjia riot,Xue family in Hedong stayed in their native place and sefeguarded themselves by relying on the river.Till Liu Yu got Guanzhong,some people of Xue Family started migrating.Generally speaking,Hedong Xue family moved southward to Jiangzuo three times.The first time and the second time occurred when Liu Yu lost Changan.One group migrated southward for avoiding disaster and seeking to survive,the other was taken to the south as prisoners.The third time was Xue Andu＇s family moving to the south when emperor Taiwu was in power in the Northern Wei Dynasty.The time and events about Xue Andu＇s migrating recorded in Wei Shu were right.Among the three groups migrating to the south,one moved back to the north earlier and the other two groups represented by Xue Andu became emperor Xiaowu＇s important officials in the Song Dynasty by means of military achievements.There were also key figures in Yongjia riot and very influential in the south.After Yongjia riot was put down,most people of Xue family moved back to the north.There was a small number of Xue people in the south during the Qi and Liang Dynasties,but after the Liang Dynasty almost not a single person from Xue family could be found there.
