| Abstract: | This paper analyses and introduces the formating methods of English scientific and technical terms from word origin and word formation with examples. English scientific and technical terms are usually generated by meaning transformation of the daily English words, borrowing and traditional word formation. The translation skills are transliteration, free translation, translation of both pronunciation and meaning, pictographic translation and non-translation. |
