| Abstract: | A tree with a diameter less than or equal to 3 is necessarily a caterpillar1], its gracefulness is easy to be seen. When the diameter of a tree is more than or equal to 4, its struture is complex, and its gracefulness is hard to be seen. Among these trees, the tree the diameter of which is 4 is the most basic one. In 1982, Huang, Kotzig and Rosa proved the gracefulness of the very simple trees in the paper2]. In this paper, we applied edge-moving theorem4] to prove the gracefulness of any trees with a diameter equal to 4. |
