| Abstract: | The dynamic stress concentration problems at the swallowtail on a hammer forging die are investigated by using the dynamic photoelastie method. The distribution of dynamic stress in the original design is ascertained. The ways to reduce the dynamic stress concentration are suggested. The feasibility to employ the inlay dies is proved. |
