Design and Analysis of a Mutual-Authentication Cryptographic Protocol

In order to communicate securely in an insecure network, an efficient mutual authentication cryptographic protocol for network management was presented. The background of this cryptographic protocol was also introduced. Some ideas on the design of cryptographic protocol were provided. By using the supplemental BAN logic, a process of formal analysis of this mutual authentication cryptographic protocol was presented. The simulaton of the handshake protocol, which is the main part of this mutual authentication cryptographic protocol, shows that this mutual authentication cryptographic protocol reduces time consuming and enhances efficiency under the same parameter encrypted.
