SiCp/Al复合材料的高速铣削试验与表面缺陷研究

摘    要:金属基复合材料(MMCs),特别是颗粒增强铝基复合材料(PRAMCs)因其良好的综合性能具有广阔的应用前景,但其难切削性限制了进一步发展与应用。通过实验:采用PCD刀具、在不同切削条件下对高体分Si Cp/Al复合材料进行高速铣削。探讨了铣削速度、进给量、切削深度对表面完整性(表面粗糙度、表面残余应力和表面形态)的影响,并且建立了高速铣削时的表面粗糙度和表面残余应力预测模型。为铝基复合材料的相似高速切削提供了实例参考和理论依据。

Abstract:Due to its excellent and comprehensive performances, metal matrix composites (MMCs), especially the particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites (PRAMCs), has a broad application prospect. But the poor machinability has become a limitation to its further development and application. A systematic experimental research of high speed milling of Al/SiC/65p (65% volume fraction) under different conditions using polycrystalline diamond tools (PCD) was presented in this paper. The influences of milling speed, feed rate and milling depth on machined surface integrety (surface roughness (Ra), surface residual stress (RS) and morphology were investigated and the prediction models of surface roughness, surface residual stress in high-speed milling was built. This paper provides an example of reference and a theoretical basis for the similar high-speed milling cases.
