| 摘 要： | 战后美国日趋严重日趋复杂的无家可归者问题 ,是一个结构性的社会问题。无家可归者队伍的构成 ,无家可归的原因 ,街头流浪者的处境 ,美国政府和慈善团体所采取的救助措施 ,都是当代美国社会史研究的重要课题。富甲天下的美国竟有千百万人无家可归 ,这无疑是美国的国耻。无家可归问题已严重损害了美国在国际舞台上的形象

| Abstract: | The article makes a survey of the homeless problem in contemporary American society. It analyses the main causes that make so many people homeless and cites some examples to demonstrate the miserable life of the vagrants. In spite of the efforts of the American government and many charity organizations, the problem has been little improved. The article points out that the homeless problem is America's national shame and has already done damage to America's image in the international arena. |
