ESP课程实验教学探索

摘    要:随着社会经济文化的发展和大学英语教学改革的深化,专门用途英语(ESP)课程极有可能成为21世纪大学英语课程的主流。目前,多数ESP课程教学刚刚起步,其教学方式比较单一,教学理念尚不成熟。文章以四级后续ESP《职场英语》的教学实验为实例,探讨了如何借助建构主义的理论观,在ESP课程教学中将情景式、协作式以及交际式的教学模式相结合,实现《职场英语》课程教学的实用化和趣味化。

Abstract:With the social, economical and cultural development and the deepening of the reformation in the college English teaching, more and more ESP courses have been set up in the colleges, and they tend to be the major English courses for college English curriculum. in the 21st century. Taking the ESP course Workplace English as an example, this paper discusses how to apply the theory of eonstructivism to the teaching of the ESP courses and combine the situational, cooperative, and communicative teaching models to make the eourse achieve its goal of "being interesting and practical".
