The Optimal Allocation of a VC's Productivity:A Viewpoint of the Stakeholders

In this article we use a simple queuing network to model the VC process,and derive the respective payoff function of three core stakeholders,investors,managers and employees in the process based on the model and some assumptions.The following comparative analysis find that three parties have different preferences in two key variables of their payoff function,the allocation of productivity between pre-and post-investment activities,and the proportion of venture proposals to accept.Finally,we discussed how to achieve the optimal allocation of the VC productivity and the limitation of the model.
