| Abstract: | This paper briefly deals with the history and present condition of karyotypestudies in birds.The emphasis is put ou the analysis of the character of birdkaryotypes,evolution law and chromosome rearrangement which play an importantrole in speciation.For the first tlme,the paper points out not only the parallelevolution in bird karyotypes,which is discussed in three ways,but also the application of karyotype character in different classsification grades. |
