| Abstract: | Summary The distribution of3H-leucine between the various polyopeptide components ofOrchestia gammarellus vitellogenin and lipovitellins, separated by SDS-PAGE, has been stdied after in vivo injection of this amino-acid. The results corroborate the view that, the heaviest components, or native polypeptide subunits of vitellogenin, are progressively transformed into lighter ones. |
