| 摘 要： | 提出了一种新的数学分析模型,用于计算IEEE 802.11协议的平均包延时。通过与基于OPNET的仿真结果比较,证实该分析是有效的。分析结果证实,相对于基本访问机制,采用RTS/CTS媒体访问机制将获得较低的包延时,对于合理采用RTS/CTS机制、显著提高IEEE 802.11WLAN性能具有重要意义。

| Abstract: | This paper proposes a new mathematical analysis model for computing the average packet delay of IEEE 802.11 protocol.This analysis is valid by comparison with the simulation result based on OPNET.The proposed analysis verifies that when RTS/CTS mechanism achieves lower packet delay,with respect to the basic access mechanism,it is of great importance to the rational use of RTS/CTS mechanism and the notable increase in the performance of IEEE 802.11 WLAN. |
