一种海底地形与底质的三维融合可视化方法

海底地形与底质是海洋环境可视化的基本内容。目前基于二维平面的海底地形与底质的可视化结果缺乏真实感,而已有的三维海底环境可视化不能有效反映各种底质的分布情况。为了能够更加真实自然地综合表现海底地形与底质,提出一种海底地形与底质的三维融合可视化方法。该方法首先根据测量数据对海底底质进行区域划分,然后利用等距线方法生成不同区域间的纹理过渡带,采用多重纹理实现不同底质纹理之间的平滑过渡,接着对生成的纹理图像进行瓦片金字塔建模,最后将底质纹理与基于海底水深数据的三维海底地形模型融合绘制。实验结果表明,该方法得到的海底地形与底质的三维可视化效果更加真实自然,可较真实反映不同海底底质的分布情况。

3D Visualization Method for Submarine Bottom Terrain and Characteristics

Submarine Bottom Terrain and Characteristics(SBTC) is the basic content of the visualization of marine environment.The 2D visualization of SBTC is lack of realism;while the 3D methods cannot effectively reflect the distribution of each bottom characteristic.In order to show more naturally and really SBTC,a method for SBTC of 3D visualization was proposed.Firstly,the method obtained the regional breakdown of Submarine Bottom Characteristics,and the texture transition zone between different regions was generated by the Polygon-Offset algorithm.Then the Multi-Texture was used to achieve a smooth transition between two different textures.The generated texture images could be used to build the texture image Pyramid modeling.Finally,the characteristics textures and the submarine bottom terrain model were drawn together to visualize SBTC.The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method for SBTC of 3D visualization is more real and natural,and can show the distribution of different submarine bottom characteristics.
