前躯体原位聚合溶胶-凝胶过程制备聚酯/纳米TiO_2杂化材料的可行性研究

摘    要:设计并验证了一种特殊的原位溶胶凝胶过程,即前躯体原位聚合溶胶-凝胶过程的可行性.研究表明,由钛酸正丁酯(TBOT)带入的丁醇(BA)在酯化时被馏出反应体系外,TBOT的引入也不影响酯化反应程度.颗粒状的纳米TiO2在酯化反应阶段即已生成,其平均粒径约70nm,基本呈单分散态,在聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)基体中分散较均匀,这与纳米TiO2在PET基体合成过程中原位部分有机化密切相关.原位引入的纳米TiO2不影响PET树脂基体的热降解性能和相对分子质量分布.结果表明,通过前躯体原位聚合溶胶凝胶过程,在PET的合成体系中引入前驱体TBOT,通过这一方法制备可成型加工的PET/纳米TiO2复合树脂是可行的.

Abstract:An unusual in-situ sol-gel process,named as in-situ sol-gel process from precursor during polymer synthesis,is designed and its feasibility has been verified.The results shown that the butyl alcohol(BA)from the hydrolysis of tetrabutylorthotitanate (TBOT)is almost distilled out and there has no effect on the esterification degree caused by the introducing of TBOT.The sphere-like nano-TiO_2 with 70 nm average diameter has been insitu formed during the esterfification and is nearly mono-and well-dispersed into polyethylene terephthalate(PET)matrix.It is attributed to the in-situ formation and partially organic modification of nano-TiO_2.It is also shown that there has no effect on the thermal stability and relative molecular weight distribution of PET base hybrid caused by the in-situ formed nano-TiO_2.Therefore,it is feasible that PET/nano-TiO_2 hybrid with processing ability is prepared by in-situ sol-gel process from precursor during PET synthesis.
