成人创新教育，通过对在职从业人员创新素质的教育和培养，实现其直接服务于经济建设和社会发展的功能，要以岗位培训，继续教育等非学历教育为发展方向，以学习和吸收新知识，新技术，接受和研习新思维，新方法，新工艺为重点内容，在创新教育和职业上结合的实践中致力于在职从业人员创新素质的培养，同时还要不断提高成人教育队伍自身的创新能力和综合素质。
