硫酸三甘肽(TGS)晶体中电畴的观察

摘    要:TGS晶体是一种铁电晶体,是现阶段制备热释电探测器件的一种较好的材料。 铁电体的一个重要特性,是在一定的温度范围内具有自发电极化强度。自发极化是被晶体中存在的电偶极矩所决定的,在晶体中有这样一些区域,其中电偶极矩的取向一致,具有相同的自发电极化方向,这些区域就称为电畴。我们观察电畴的目的,在于找出晶体的电畴结构和宏观性质之间的联系。


OBSERVATION OF THE FERROELECTRIC DOMAIN IN SINGLE CRYSTALS OF TRIGLYCINE SULPHATE

Abstract:The domain structure of pure and doped TGS crystals has been investigated on cleft (010) surface by both the etching technique and the powder-pattern technique. It was shown in our experiments that the direction of polarization is the [010] axis and the domains are antiparallel 180° domains with walls parallel to the [010] axis. Both of these two techniques could delineate and discriminate the domains in pure crystals and the results from them are in good agreement.We found in our experiments a new colloidal solution, a few drops of which on the cleft (010) surface of pure crystals can immediately delineate and discriminate their domains with high resolution and good reliability.
