北京天文馆的陨石科普工作

SCIENTIFIC POPULARIZATION ON METEORITES AT BEIJING PLANETARIUM

With the rapid increase of meteorites found on the Earth and the upsurge of deep space activities, the study and development of meteorites are paid more attention and become a hotspot. Beijing Planetarium makes full use of its advantages, established the Laboratory of Meteorites and Astrochemistry to strengthen its scientific research ability. With the aid of the latest discoveries in the study of meteorites, the lab is now engaged in the scientific popularization of meteorites, and uses various means to spread the knowledge of meteorites. The scientific research and popularization are connected closely. Beijing Planetarium should act as a bridge between scientific research and popularization and tie them closely.
