再论严复政治思想的转变——从戊戌变法到辛亥革命

严复是中国近代杰出的思想家、教育家、翻译家和政论家,是19世纪末向西方寻求救国真理的先进人物。维新变法时期,严复利用舆论工具积极宣传维新变法,抨击封建专制,鼓吹君主立宪。辛亥革命时期,他反对革命,反对共和。严复主张坚持渐进式的改良主义,反对突变式的革命。他的政治思想在维新变法时期是符合历史潮流的,但到了辛亥革命时期却与社会脱节。
