The evolution of the concept of Spring and Autumn was a process of diminishing.Confucius neither created nor modified The Spring and Autumn Annals,but he used it as a textbook for teaching.The Spring and Autumn Annals initiated the historical style of chronology as a history book.It was also a politicized work,and its narrative focused on technique of writing, calligraphy and authentic examples,which imposed profound influence on the development of Chinese traditional historiography.
