| Abstract: | Xi'an Atlas can show the level of our countrys city maps compiling at present,which takes the lead in Chinese city cartography.On the basis of the research of Xi'an Atlas, this paper puts fourward that modern city maps should been intensively studied on those respects such as its content,function,expression and symbolism,and compiling complex map should be its developing directiom. |
