| 摘 要： | 习语是语言在漫长岁月中沉淀下来的精华,其形式简明扼要,但是表达的意思却很深刻。它们与社会、历史、宗教等诸多文化因素有着千丝万缕的关联。对比中英两种语言中的习语可以发现,两者间存在着一些差异。造成这些差异的深层原因主要源于文化的影响,其中包含了文化倾向、自然地理、风俗习惯和宗教信仰等诸多文化元素。所以要透彻地研究习语就要挖掘隐藏在它们之后的文化元素。
