| Abstract: | By using the concept of weakly compatible self- mappings in metric spaces, the existence of common fixed point of weakly compatible mappings in complete metric spaces is considered. Some rusults by Zhang shishen , Lu zhongxue , Gu feng and others are generalized and improved. |
