地方高校大学生竞争心理属于中等偏上水平;理工科专业在竞争心理的所有维度中全面高于文科专业;在竞争总分、竞争动机、竞争策略上男生远胜女生;竞争总分、竞争倾向、竞争策略表现为大一较低,大二什高,到毕业班又下降;竞争动机随年级升高反而降低;在竞争策略方面独生子女得分明显高于非独生子女;非贫困生其竞争总分、竞争策略显著高于贫困生。

Competition among the local college students is on the upper level. Majors of science and technology are more comptitive than liberal arts majors in all dimensions;boys are better than girls on competitive strateg, total score and motivation.
