| Abstract: | Karl Pearson(1857-1936)is a famous philospher-scientist at the turn of the century. His views of science had a great influences upon academic and ideological circles in China. On the base of his representative work,The Grammar of Science, the paper discuss in detail several resects to Pearson's views of science: the aims, characters, and values of science; the scope,method, and classification of science;science and imagination,science and aesthetic judgment. |
