关于正确定义“体育”与“运动”的研究

“体育”与“运动”常被以“体育运动” 联词共义方式使用,因而不仅导致在理论上对这两个不同概念的描述模糊不清,而且在实践中易使职能部门在制定方针政策时产生偏颇,使该两项事业的发展迷失方向,为此,通过对这两个概念展开了内涵与外延的研究,分别给出了下定义：“所谓体育,就是以身体活动为形式,以追求身心健康为根本目的的人类活动。”,“所谓运动,就是以从事专门的竞赛项目的身体活动为形式,以争夺锦标为主要目的的人类活动。”
