| Abstract: | University is an opening organization which has a close relationship with society; the role of university in serving social development is increasing remarkably. The paper proceeded to study the impact of the Johns Hopkins University in the local social and economic development of Maryland. This analysis could give us some useful revelation about how the higher educations serve local economic and the development of the society basing on the locality. |
