| Abstract: | WEI Liaoweng was a famous physicist and progressive thinker in late South Song. He is knowledgeable, and his articles and feat were very brilliant at that time. His works spread to the next generation. He made a lot of prominent contributions in his life, not only to the study of Confucian classics and philosophy, but also to the universe, agriculture, medicine and astronomy.Tapping WEI Liaoweng's ideas and positions is very useful to develop traditional Chinese scientific and technological culture. |
