摘    要:针对传统的PCI总线结构形成系统通信瓶颈的缺陷,提出了以交换网络为中心的可扩展并行PC体系结构设计思想.用面向对象的分析方法对传统计算机硬件结构进行分析,设计了新的基于交叉开关的PC系统结构,并用Petri网分别对传统PC的I/O结构和并行PC的I/O结构进行建模分析,并作了定量计算,对这两种结构的性能进行了比较与分析,结果表明,并行PC系统结构可以在很大程度上提高系统设备的利用率和进程的执行效率.

Abstract:A design of parallel PC architecture for switching network centric was proposed. Object oriented method was used for the new architecture's design. Petri net models for I/O architecture of both traditional and parallel PC were built. Based on these models, the performance of the two kinds of architectures was compared. The result of performance show that parallel PC based on switching network supports much larger throughput than traditional PC based on PCI bus.
