显示图像清晰度的视觉感知研究

摘    要:研究了清晰度差别的可视性,通过两次实验,邀请不同的观测者对不同清晰度的静态显示图像进行主观视觉评价,并应用统计学分析方法进行了分析.结果表明:文本图像的清晰度差别比自然彩色图像的清晰度差别更容易被分辨.另外,还分析了图像清晰度的视觉感知与显示器的对角线阶跃响应之间的关系,说明人的视觉对自然彩色图像的清晰度差别的可视性临界值相当于角分辨率为14 arcsec,而对文本图像则相当于5 arcsec.

Abstract:With development of display technology, not only the technical performance and cost, but also the perceived image quality has become important aspects of consideration by consumers. Visibility in sharpness differences is investigated in this paper in two experiments in which sharpness of different still images with different blurring levels is assessed by different people. Statistical analysis is made. The results show that text images are clearly more critical for judging sharpness than natural color images. In terms of the diagonal step response, the visibility threshold of sharpness differences is equal to an angular resolution of 14 arcsec for natural color images and 5 arcsec for text images.
