"The Advisory Opinion of Responsibilities and Obligations of Sponsoring States" is announced by the Seabed Disputes Chamber of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea in the context of the developmental activities in the Area that have started.It has clearly defined the contents and scope of responsibilities and obligations which Sponsoring States should take for the activities undertaken by a sponsored contractor in the Area.This is beneficial to the related parties carrying out activities in the Area.China is necessary,as a Sponsoring State,to seriously judge the impact of the Advisory Opinion on itself,and accordingly to make a plan.
