功能翻译理论观照下的企业简介翻译问题

摘    要:企业简介代表着企业的形象,对于企业的发展非常重要,然而目前国内很多企业的简介翻译存在各种各样的问题。以德国功能翻译理论为依据,探讨了企业简介翻译存在的问题,并对出现这些问题的原因进行了分析。在此基础上,尝试提出了企业简介翻译可以采用的几种常见方法。认为译者在翻译企业简介时,必须以目的语文化为背景,站在译语读者的角度,按照译文的预期目的灵活恰当地选用多种翻译方法,使译文被译语读者所接受,进而实现企业简介翻译的宣传推介目的。

Abstract:Company profile represents the company’s image and is very important for the development of enterprise,however,various translation problems exist in the profiles of many domestic companies.With Functionalist approach as a guideline,this paper looks into the existing translation problems of company profiles,analyses the reasons of translation mistakes and tries to discuss some common methods of company profiles translation.The author thinks that when translating company’s profile,the translator must take the culture of target language as background,and stand in the target language readers’ point of view,and properly select the flexible translation methods in accordance with the intended purposes of target language in order that the translation can be accepted by the readers of the target language,and then realize the publicity and promotion purposes of company profile translation.
