汉语新词翻译中存在的问题及应对策略

随着中国在国际上受关注度的日益提高,翻译界也面临更多的挑战,其中之一就是汉语新词的翻译。当前汉语新词的翻译中存在不少问题,如:翻译的方法零散多样、缺少统一的理论指导、有些翻译过于机械而导致误解,等等。针对这一现象,主要从三个方面提出了汉语新词翻译的应对策略:加强权威的理论指导、为了避免歧义翻译时需注重灵活变通性、译者应不断了解英汉文化差异以提高翻译素养。

Problems in and Suggestions on the Translation of Chinese Neologisms

As China gains more publicity in the world,people in the translation circle are faced with more challenges,among which is the translation of Chinese Neologisms.Currently many problems and defects still exist in this field,the lack of accepted guidance and principles,lack of flexibility,to name just a few.This paper advances three suggestions in translating Chinese neologisms:the early establishment of accepted guidance and principles,more flexibility in translating practice and the further improvement of translating skills.
