电极转速对甲醇电化学氧化还原行为的影响

摘    要:以旋转线扫伏安和旋转循环伏安法研究了甲醇的电化学氧化还原过程中电极旋转速度的影响.电极旋转增加了CO在电极表面上的吸附量,增大其毒化作用,较大程度地减小氧化和还原电流.转速的影响随电位区域不同而不同,在较低电位下(<0.65 V),氧化过程为电化学动力学控制,旋转的影响较大;电位较正时(>0.65 V),氧化过程为扩散控制,旋转的影响较小.CO在电极表面上的吸附量的相对增加,使CO脱附引起的氧化电流也相对增加.

Abstract:The electro-oxidation of methanol in aqueous solution was investigated by linear and cyclic voltammetry with platinum rotation disk electrode.Even smaller rotation rate(200?rpm) can greatly decrease both of oxidation and reduction currents due to the relatively increasing CO adsorption on electrode surface.Rotation greatly influences kinetically controlled oxidation process at lower potential(<0.65?V) rather than the diffusion controlled one at more positive potential(>0.65?V),and increases oxidation current of methanol due to CO desorption in returning scan.
