| 摘 要： | 15—17世纪欧洲的地理大发现与在此之前的中国明代进行的郑和下西洋在时间、背景、起因、动机、影响和目的等方面有差别又有联系，分别在世界上产生了深远的影响，具有重大历史意义。同时二者从不同侧面折射出东西方文明的差异。本文对两次活动进行目的、背景、手段、影响等方面的比较，以探析东、西方文明在包容性、逻辑性、探险性等方面的差异。

| Abstract: | The great geographical discoveries and Zhenghhuo western navigation are great things in the history of geography development .They have relations as well as differences in purpose,conditions,ways and influences.And they also reflect the great differences between oriental culture and western one .This article manage to reveal the cultural discrepancy through comparing the two actions . |
