摘    要:范畴结构等级和原型典型性是人类的认知特征,写作是基于已有认知范畴的表达活动。将大学英语写作置于原型范畴理论的视域下,从审题、语法使用、措词和篇章构造等环节探讨两者之间的认知联系,对于教学中如何帮助学生建构写作框架、拓宽写作思路和提高写作能力是一有益的尝试。

A Study of the Optimization of Prototype Theory on College English Writing Instruction

Abstract:The structural hierarchy and proto-typicality of categories are the features of human cognition. Writing is an activity based on the acquired cognitive categories. With college English writing instruction analyzed from the perspective of prototype theory, their cognitive correlation is explored in respect of topic examination, grammar in use, diction and text-building, which is a beneficial attempt to help students enhance framework, broaden theme and improve skills in writing.
