| Abstract: | The manufacturing execution system is a bridge between the production information management system and the device control system. It can connect the ignored information gap between the upper management and the working site. The manufacturing execution system provides the foundation for the integration of enterprise manufacturing process planning, quality control, technics and the implementation of agile manufacturing enterprise. This paper introduces the functions of the manufacturing execution system, the relationship with other systems and its development trend. |
