A New Optimality Criterion Method For Structure of Thin Plate

We present a new optimality criterion. method for the structure of thin plate. The method avoids the difficulty in distinguishing between active and passive design varibles, which has occured in most of the existing criterion methods. and saves bulk of computation effort. Finally, a numrical example is shown to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method.
