| 摘 要： | 文章通过实例，分析了英汉两种语言中的省略现象，并将它们进行了对比，就省略的类型、还原、替代等有关语法省略的现象和概念做了说明，有助于深入了解两种语言的省略，从而正确地使用省略，提高语言交际的能力。

| Abstract: | This essay analyzes and compares ellipsis in the English and Chinese languages and explains phenomena and concepts of ellipsis such as types of ellipsis,reduction and substitution,etc.This helps to get a further understanding of ellipsis in the two languages so that we can use ellipsis correctly and improve our competence of lingustic communication. |
