| Abstract: | A scheme for compactification of ammonia water absorption refrigerators, especially for the reduction of the height of the generating rectification column is proposed, which includes using spiral sheet heat exchangers as the generator and the partial condenser of the refrigerator instead of the tube shell ones. The experimental results on an ethanol distiller designed with above mentioned modification are presented. |
